Demand from Medical Device Industry Continuing to Grow
Kalamazoo, Mich., Aug. XX, 2008 – Keystone Manufacturing today announced it is opening a new Grand Rapids location to meet growing demand.
Keystone Manufacturing, a subsidiary of Kalamazoo, Mich.-based Keystone Solutions Group, handles the manufacturing, assembly, packing and distribution of medical devices and supplies. Keystone Solutions Group provides product development, supply chain management and contract manufacturing services for the medical device, automotive, aerospace and specialty products industries.
Located at 3710 Sysco Court SE in Grand Rapids, this new location will add 9,000 square feet of space, including offices, a warehouse, manufacturing operations and clean-room facilities.
“With a new location in Grand Rapids, in addition to our facility in Kalamazoo, Keystone is better positioned to continue growing in the burgeoning medical device industry,” said Jim Medsker, principal of Keystone Solutions Group. “We have 7,000 square feet of space at our Kalamazoo operations, and by opening a Grand Rapids location, we are more than doubling our capacity.”
